Your school may have developed a set or sets of school values to identify activities in your curriculum that align with a particular academic initiative. Some examples of sets of school values are:
- A school improvement or character education plan.
- Long-range planning activities associated with academic study.
- Differentiated instruction.
This feature is optional, contact us if you would like to turn it on in your Atlas site.
Application
Add a New School Values Activity
From My Atlas > My Courses > Unit Planner > School Values:
1. Click the School Values tab (or go to the category) in your Unit Planner.
2. Click Add New Activity.
3. Select an Activity from the drop-down menu.
4. From the School Values drop-down menu, select the appropriate Value type.
- Enter a description of the activity. Using the editor, you can format your text including bullets, bold, and underline.
- Check the specific school values with which your activity is identified.
5. Click Save to record your changes.
School values identified in your and your colleagues' curricula may be viewed and analyzed further within the Search tab. See Also: Search Values.
View and Modify School Values Activity
From My Atlas > My Courses > Unit Planner > School Values:
- Click Edit to modify your school values activity.
- Click Delete to remove your school values activity.
- Click Print to produce a printable report of the school values activities identified in the unit you’re working on.
- Drag and drop Sort to arrange the order in which the school values activities appear in your Unit Planner.
